Foundation Board is Established

Meow Meow Foundation has announced that six additional board members have signed on to support child water safety and health initiatives. Board members are as follows:

  • Doug Forbes|President: Career marketing communications executive in nationwide/global nonprofit and for-profit organizations, currently pursuing a master’s in journalism at Harvard.

  • Elena Matyas|Treasurer: In-house counsel at The Walt Disney Company, part of a team that manages the worldwide real estate portfolio estimated at 30 million square feet.

  • Liliana Coronado: Vice President of Brimley Group, a government relations firm that navigates Sacramento and Washington D.C. with in-depth policy knowledge.

  • Charles Brown: Deputy Federal Public Defender, Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of California, Los Angeles

  • Katherine Mattey: Chief Merchandising Officer at UncommonGoods, a visionary online retailer based in Brooklyn, NY.

  • Jim Wiggins: Former Development Manager for Kaposia, Inc., a nonprofit focusing on employment for people with disabilities, and currently a district sales representative for Brewer Supply Group.

  • Hannah Wiggins: Career public school elementary teacher, reading intervention specialist, advocate for children with medical disabilities and former Descanso Gardens Education Coordinator for high school students with special needs.

  • Cristina Alvarado: Former trainer for Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins and California Sea Lions, now veteran at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center where she is director of swim lessons and a passionate water safety advocate.
